A History of Excellence

The company was started in 1908 by William C. Huff and revitalized by current President Jim Henderson in 1988. What was once a small local moving company located in rural Dover, New Hampshire, has since evolved into a booming business with locations in Barrington, NH and Naples, FL.  Renown for their dedication to quality, a tradition they have nurtured for over 100 years, William C. Huff provides concierge level logistical support for high net worth and ultra high net-worth estate owners and their private service staff.

“Many of our staff members have been with us for over 25 years, ” said Henderson.  “This helps us to keep our discerning clientele comfortable with entrusting us with their most treasured items. They know that the people handling their artwork, furniture, etc., are the best in the business,” he continued. The company provides specialized training so that their staff are equipped to help deal with the many stresses of moving. They customize services to meet each and every client’s unique situation.

“We often handle irreplaceable antiques and expensive artwork, but our clients are secure knowing that our tenured and highly trained staff will treat these items with the utmost care.” With a rich history of excellence behind them, William C. Huff can most certainly contribute it’s future triumphs on their tried-and-true process.

“The key to our success is time,” said Henderson. “Our company has spent the last several decades investing in people, and their combined experiences have helped us to refine and retool our process to perfection.”

A Green Future

“I know I have a business to run, but I think it’s just as important that we address the changing needs of our communities too,” said Henderson. To that end, William C. Huff has invested in state-of-the-art facilities, and a fleet of new environmentally friendly vehicles. Their climate controlled warehouse in Naples, Florida is the largest 100% solar powered facility of its kind in Collier County.

According to Henderson, “Our clients want elegance and discretion, but they also appreciate our commitment to innovation.” Taking great pride in their superior level of service also comes with a promise of protection for the next generation. As Henderson said,  “We care about the environment, and so do our clients.”

With no sacrifice to their signature service, William C. Huff also recycles and reuses their materials helping to reduce their carbon footprint.

Becoming a Renovation Angel

Our President Steve Feldman met Jim Henderson through DEMA, the Domestic Estate Management Association, several years ago. Since then both companies have overlapped whenever possible. “Obviously there is a great potential for synergy,” said Henderson. “We both are dedicated to providing innovative, high quality, and eco-friendly services,” said Feldman.

For their unrivaled contributions to their industry, and their continued commitment to ecologically sound business practices, Renovation Angel is proud to honor William C. Huff as a true Renovation Angel.

“A tax deduction, a green solution for unnecessary waste, and the repurposing of gently used home items for charity. What Renovation Angel does in the design & build industry just makes sense, and I’m proud to support their mission.” – Jim Henderson
